My son-in-law is a challenge to buy for because he wants games that make him think. This offers both a mental challenge plus patience as he assembles the puzzle for the clues to solve the mystery. Such a clever idea and a great gift for him!!

When I saw this puzzle, I knew I had to get it for my grandchildren. They are puzzle wizards and have been doing puzzles with their parents for years. This one was really a challenge because it was not the traditional shape of most puzzles. So even though it only has 300 pieces, it was fun for them to work on. As a retired elementary teacher, I think there is great value in helping children become flexible thinkers, and the 299 cats and one dog puzzle does exactly that!

Our friend is a man who has many interests. He was in the "US of Navy" and has many stories to tell and he is a great orator. His latest hobby is puzzles. This was a perfect challenge for him. Because he once told me I give the coolest gifts, he has raised the bar...this surpassed it.

If you like logic games and mental challenges then this is the perfect game for you! I am very impressed with how many puzzles this game has since it is not limited to just the ones in the box but gameplay continues with a plethora of online games, so it will take a VERY long time to get through the various puzzles. Additionally, the online version provides a daily game so you can honestly play this indefinantly.

My husband and his father have been trading brain teasers since he was a small boy. The goal every year is to get each other the hardest puzzle. Since his father passed away, we have continued the tradition. He loves it because he is already stumped. We got him a good one Grandpa!
