Wonderful Gift for my Sudoku-Loving Mom!
Colorku is *such* a fun twist on the traditional game! The translation of colors into numbers works incredibly well, literally bringing a new dimension to a timeless puzzle. The pieces and board are just the right size and truly feel well-made. There are plenty of puzzles in the card deck—especially if you just do one a day like my Mom and I do. Only thing I'd adjust is the ink colors on the cards: sometimes I can't quite tell dark blue from dark purple (but that could fully just be me). tldr: highly recommend this fun, meditative puzzle set!

Colorku Review
This game is awesome!! I love how colorful the pieces are. All of the Sudoku puzzle cards are sorted from easy to hard (along with the answer key). I have been playing almost every day since I got it. So cool!! The other reviews on this game trigger me to purchase. They were spot on!!

This game is a favorite!
I saw this at a friend's house and thought it was gorgeous right off. Then they taught me how to play and I was hooked. My husband gave it to me for my birthday after that and we played every night for a while. It is a great two person game, but works well single person as well as adding more. It can be left out and come back to or done over a conversation or watching a movie. Challenges your brain and so satisfying to complete! It has been my go-to gift for a while now. We love it!

Beautiful, challenging, fun
A wonderful game that is beautiful on a table and satisfying to handle and play. Nice to have a puzzle that's not on a screen, everyone loved this from my 10 year-old to my 70 year-old mother. #sweepstakes

So much more than suduku! Colorku For two!
A great family game. Fun way to exercise the brain. It would be helpful to include a more secure way to store the set. Bag for balls? More secure box?. Plastic cover is not necessary and it makes it look gitchy.
FAQs
1. What age range is ColorKu suitable for?
ColorKu is suitable for a wide age range — players as young as 6 or 7 years old up to adults in their 70s and 80s enjoy it. Because the game uses colors instead of numbers, it's accessible and engaging for kids developing critical thinking skills, while still being stimulating enough for adults looking to keep their minds sharp.
2. Is ColorKu made of wood or plastic?
ColorKu is made of wood, not cheap plastic. The board and pieces are crafted from high-quality materials, giving the game a beautiful, durable feel that players love having out on display — whether on a coffee table or during a family game night.
3. Can ColorKu be played with more than one person at a time?
Yes, ColorKu can be played with multiple people at the same time. Because the board uses colors instead of numbers, it can be turned in different directions, allowing more than one person to work on a puzzle simultaneously from their own point of view — making it a great couples activity or family game.
4. Does ColorKu come with puzzles for different difficulty levels?
Yes, ColorKu includes puzzle cards sorted from easy to intermediate to challenging, along with an answer key. This range of difficulty levels makes it a great fit for a variety of ages and skill levels, from kids just learning logical thinking to adults seeking a serious brain challenge.

I'm considering buying this for a clever 8 year old girl, and saw that one reviewer said it would be good for kids of all ages -- true? It looks kind of complicated to me!
Verified reply from Cassie, Community Moderator
This game is tricky (which is good, if you like a challenge), but it isn't extremely complicated. It's very similar to traditional sudoku, but using colors instead of numbers. It does come with directions and puzzle cards to get you started, and it's recommended for ages 8 and up, so a clever 8 year old will likely catch on in no time.
