My mom prefers experiences over objects for gifts. This was spot on! The kit arrived looking absolutely adorable, with ingredients and a cute spoon and towel set. She was thrilled about the online baking class, and really enjoyed it. Sadly, I wasn't there to taste the treats, but my dad reports they were "delicious!" Next time I'll get myself a kit and we can take the class together! So happy with this purchase!

I've taken a few classes now, and Uncommon Goods has a knack for finding great instructors! Ashlee has such a lively, upbeat personality. She was engaging and fun. I'm a big experimenter when it comes to recipes, so I loved that she continuously encouraged us to go off the script and add whatever appealed to us as we created our pickles. The tasting portion was a fun experiment, yet my favorite part of class was the pickle making. I'd have been happy to stay on for an extra 15 minutes of class to allow for a more relaxed pace. The ingredient/pre-instructions are thorough, but here's a heads-up for my fellow tortoises: I would add to get your ingredients chopped before class starts. This may not be necessary for everyone, but I'm recovering from a hand injury and missed some of Ashlee's instructions while I battled my hand to get things chopped as we went along. I wish I had set myself up better. If you have any movement/dexterity issues or just prefer to move slower, do yourself a favor by chopping up your cucumbers, onions, garlic, etc, just before joining the class. Ashlee was so warm and likable that I would have preferred to give her my full attention! I apologize that I don't recall our moderator's name, but I'd like to add that she was enormously helpful in typing out instructions as we went along! Overall, so fun!! I tried my pickles this morning, and they're delicious. I'm definitely making more. Ashlee clearly has a passion for cooking, so if UG adds more from her I'll purchase without hesitation!

We absolutely LOVE the interactive cooking classes on Uncommon Goods; this was our 4th class and it didn't disappoint! Every class we have attended has been amazing, so much fun as well as educational - plus, we get to enjoy a delicious meal afterwards, not to mention expanding our culinary repertoire and learning how to make authentic exotic dishes from all over the world! "Simmered in Spice" was no exception, we had a blast making four delicious dishes and now we can't wait to try out our new skills again for friends & Family - thanks Uncommon Goods for bringing such a fun activity into our home again!

Great chef and simple but good recipes! Wines were a good match to the food and it was a fun time. Definitely will look at other classes!
