How do you care for the cocktail smoker?
The main body may become blocked with soot after a few uses, which will reduce the flow of smoke. Using the chimney brush, push the tool through the smoking ports on the neck of the main body to clean out any left over soot. Wipe out any soot from the chamber. If care instructions are followed, Foghat will last for approximately 100 burns. Discard at end of life.
What else should you know about the cocktail smoker?
Kitchen Torch Precautions:
1. Keep out of reach of children.
2. Keep away from faces of others, self and inflammable articles when using.
3. DO NOT continuously burn over 5 mins.
4. DO NOT touch the nozzle or metal pipe when using.
5. Avoid direct sunshine or placing in a space over 50 degrees celsius.
6. Use only acceptable butane gas.
7. Use safety lock when not in use.
8. When filling the gas - if there is gas leakage from the inlet, it means that the cylinder is full.
Foghat Safety Precautions:
1. Only use for intended purpose, in a safe environment.
2. Children should never handle this product.
3. Do not burn smoker shavings for more than 10 secs.
4. Do not place near other combustible materials when lighting.
5. Do not overfill chamber with shavings.
6. Always use the mesh guard on top of the smoker with shavings in the chamber.

I bought this for my father for his birthday because he is a big whiskey and cocktails guy. My husband and my brother both loved it so much that they both asked for me to get them each one for their birthdays as well! There are plenty of wood chips provided to smoke many drinks, but if you want to use the blowtorch you'll need to get your own butane.

My Husband's Dream Come True
Earlier this year, my husband invested in a smoker and has started smoking meat, fish, cheese, basically anything you can smoke. He now belongs to smoking social media groups, and has seen various versions of this gadget. So I surprised him with it for Father's Day. He was like a little kid on Christmas. The torch is very high quality and the system fits tightly for a perfect smoke. He loves it and is now the envy of several of his "smoker" friends.

Uncommon gift, for sure.
This was a Christmas gift and it was the first thing that he want to try out. It was a hit for him and the other family members. I showed it to my co-worker before I gave it to him and she bought one for her husband.

Simple and effective!
I bought this for my husband after previously purchasing a similar set from Crate & Barrel. The C&B set did not work at all and was quite disappointing. We had the butane torch already, so I did not include that. However, this set is lovely. It's very simple to use and the smoked flavor comes out in your drink beautifully. Great quality for price.

Only ONE fuel
This just arrived and haven't used it yet since it's a gift for Father's Day in a few weeks. Like another reviewer said the description says two tins of fuel will be included but they only send one. That's disappointing off the bat.

Perfect Birthday Gift
I bought this for my husband's birthday and it was a PERFECT gift! It's a great starter kit to see if you enjoy crafting smoked cocktails before buying a ton of supplies. The butane torch was easy to use and my husband was thrilled with the scent and flavor that the included wood chips imparted on his whiskey. We're planning to branch out with purchasing additional chips and different types of wood to see how it changes the outcome for the drink. There is a little bit of wood smoke smell that will linger in the air if your house isn't well ventilated, but we liked the smell and it didn't last long enough to absorb into any of the furniture or curtains.
