I absolutely love this Personalized Pet Portrait Wood Slice Ornament! It brings joy in more ways than one: not only is it a beautifully crafted ornament featuring a beloved dog or cat's face laser-engraved onto rustic wood, but it also serves as a deeply meaningful keepsake-especially for anyone who has recently lost a cherished pet. I gifted six of these to a dear friend who had suddenly lost one of her beloved family dogs. The grief had weighed heavily on her, and I wanted something to honor her "baby" during the holidays. Such a thoughtful gift for someone experiencing grief
A close friend lost her best-friend quite suddenly. I wasn't sure what to do for her and came across this. It was really impressive to me that I was able to identify the climate she lived in and a tree was sent for her that was appropriate for her climate (Arizona). She was so touched by this and planted it in her yard. She said it would bring her comfort for years to come.

I have given this as a gift to multiple friends who have lost a pet, and each time it is extremely appreciated and loved. The personalization adds a layer of thoughtfulness that an ordinary gift wouldn't. Love having this gift as an option when someone I know is grieving the loss of their beloved pet.

The Perfect Gift for a Grieving Friend
A close friend of mine lost her fur baby of 17 years and was crushed. My first instinct was to send flowers, but wanted something that would last longer (and keep a smile on her face every time she saw it). I came across this garden stone and, once received, my friend was speechless. Uncommon Goods is always my first stop for unique gifts, but the heart in this gift is beyond words. THIS ZEN DOG SAYS IT ALL
A thoughtful gift for someone who lost their beloved dog. They put the dogs tags around the neck and it's comforting to them. I have two myself and have given them as gifts.
