Manual versions of cocktail smoking seem to involve lighting things on fire and then quickly smothering them in or near the glass, without a lot of bang for the buck in terms of flavor and a fair amount of fussiness. This is a game-changer. So cool!

This cocktail smoking cloche is absolutely fantastic! The kit is small but gives you just about everything you need to make the drink (minus the alcohol.) My spouse enjoys any variations on the Old Fashioned. He rhapsodizes about a version he had on a business trip. He was really thrilled with this gift and the mix made a very complicated and tasty cocktail (the supplies seemed to be enough for a couple of cocktails, though I'd say overall it's a little overpriced.)
