Notes
The book includes only pages from the year of the recipient's birth onward. A younger recipient will have a shorter book. Additional pages featuring noteworthy events on other dates may be added at the end of the book. Please note: The pages in this book were taken from past issues of The Wall Street Journal. In archiving the pages to microfilm, imperfections on the printed pages were repeated, and the process may have introduced additional blemishes. Please note that some front page dates may be omitted on account of holidays, or certain days when there may not have been an issue. Occasionally, damage or other unforeseen circumstances have prevented front pages from being reprinted. In those instances, the front page of the next available issue appears in its place. Once your order is submitted it is entered into production and changes and cancellations cannot be accommodated- we are sorry, no exceptions. - All Orders Final

Gift for the person who has everything
This is the PERFECT gift for a person who literally has everything. I purchased this custom book, Wall Street Journal front pages from the date my husband was born, for my retired 84 year old husband. Daily, he reads the Wall Street Journal so for him, this was like a dream come true. Because of his current limitations we still have daily hard copy delivered so the old front pages in hard copy was ideal. The quality of the binding, paper quality, clarity of text on the pages and his embossed name and date of birth was first rate. Could NOT have been better. I highly recommend this custom Birthday Book!

The One Gift He Truly Didn't Already Have
What do you get a 70-year-old golf professional who already has everything? This was the perfect answer. The moment he opened it, he was genuinely blown away. He loved it so much he immediately told his three sisters about it — and I ended up sharing your website with all of them. Great birthday gift
I bought this for my father, who turned 91 years old on Dec. 23, 2025. He loves it. He was born on a Sunday and the Wall Street Journal didn't publish on Sundays "back in the day." So, the first page of the book was from Dec. 24. I appreciated the fact that they included the front page from the following day, so the book is complete. It's fun to see the ways in which the Journal changed over the decades. And, it's such a personal gift so my dad knew that a lot of thought went into choosing it.

Nice idea and a nice present but....
The book arrived promptly. It is well bound and sturdy with a hard cover. The print winds up being a very small font due to the size reduction from newspaper size to book size. Not all birthday pages were the exact birthday date, which is expected for someone born November 28 due to Thanksgiving sometimes falling on that date. Some years' pages are off by several days even when that year Thanksgiving was not on Nov 28. Strange. Not a deal-breaker for us but is noted for those with birthdays falling near a big holiday.

Which pages will be included in the book for a person born December 31? (I don't believe the WSJ publishes on New Year's Eve.)

Hello! That's a great question! The Wall Street Journal publishes Monday-Saturday, and while it does not publish on Sundays and federal holidays like New Year's Day, it does publish on New Year's Eve provided it falls between Monday-Saturday.

Hello! "Only dates prior to today's date in 2004 can be ordered at this time" means that the start of the book needs to be before today's date in 2004, the book needs a minimum of 20 years to be created. All books will include all the available years, from the date you select to the current year.

The book would feature the front page from January 1 of every year from the birth year selected.
