Growing up in North Carolina, Amie Kesler spent holidays making her grandmother Carolyn's beloved cheddar crisps by hand. Years later, after struggling to find gluten-free and dairy-free snacks that actually tasted good, she returned to that third-generation family recipe and reimagined it as a modern "cookie-cracker" hybrid. Today, Amie and her all-women team hand-fork every batch in Chicago, preserving the signature texture while making each recipe vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free. Her work blends family tradition, inclusive ingredients, and a lifelong love of gathering around good food.
