Care

PLANTING & GROWING DIRECTIONS 1. Carefully remove protective covering. Pinch off any stems that appear bruised. 2. Thoroughly water when the soil is dry. Keep the soil evenly moist and avoid overwatering. 3. If you need to repot your Gardenia, pick a larger container and use a general all purpose potting soil for the planting medium. Always check your container to see that the roots have ample enough room to grow. 4. For landscape planting, pick a spot in the full sun or another spot with a minimum of five hours of direct sunlight. Follow in-ground planting instructions on the attached planting card. 5. Fertilize twice a year, feed with a water soluble plant fertilizer found at your local garden center. Although your plant may appear slightly wilted, it will perk up in 24 hours.
