Care
Hand wash in hot soapy water & vinegar 2-3 times a year. Installation Instructions: 1. Clean window glass prior to application. 2. Use a very tiny drop of cooking oil to lubricate your thumb and then rub the flat surface of suctions cups in 4 or 5 circular strokes before applying to the window. This leaves a film of oil that increases adhesion. 3. Position feeder on the window. First, apply top suction cup, second, apply left cup and third, apply right cup pushing gently on roof section directly toward the center of each cup. From inside the feeder, individually press each suction cup onto the window, holding firmly for about ten seconds, ensuring that all air has escaped. Take care NOT to push on the center of the back panel of glass. * You must check suction cups regularly to maintain adherence. * 4. You MUST use the wire provided for added security. After install, run the line from the top suction cup of your bird feeder to a small hook or nail at the top of your window frame

Heavy & fragile
The item is beautifully made but maybe not practical. It is quite heavy and it's supposed to stick to the window with suction cups. It comes with a wire for security but there is no way to use it on my house. I received this as a gift so I guess I can wire it to a tree near the window.

I love this Glass House Bird Feeder - I bought two!
Not only is this glass house bird feeder rocking a gorgeous design - but it is also extremely popular with ALL my backyard birds, including blue jays! I just bought my second one to place in a nearby location, to double my enjoyment and help keep the hungry birds from fighting over access.
FAQs
1. Is this window bird feeder easy to set up and move to different windows?
Yes, this window bird feeder is easy to set up and can be moved to different windows with no hassle. Many buyers appreciate that it requires no tools or complicated installation, and the flexibility to reposition it means you can experiment with different windows until you find the spot that attracts the most birds. One buyer in Florida tried a couple of locations before finding the perfect window off their lanai — so if birds aren't coming right away, simply move it and try again.
2. What is this bird feeder made of, and is it durable enough to stay outside?
This bird feeder is made of sturdy glass with gold trimming, and it is durable enough to hold up outdoors. The glass construction is solid enough that one buyer successfully transported it assembled in a checked bag without damage. The design also keeps birdseed dry during rain, making it a reliable option for year-round outdoor use on any window.
3. Will this window bird feeder attract a variety of birds, including cardinals and blue jays?
This window bird feeder does attract a wide variety of birds, including cardinals, blue jays, and many other backyard species. Buyers have given it as a closing gift, a Father's Day present, a housewarming gift, and a gift for grandmothers — and recipients consistently love it. Its beautiful design, sturdy glass construction, and gold trimming give it a premium look that feels thoughtful and special, while the up-close birdwatching experience it delivers makes it genuinely useful and enjoyable.
5. How much birdseed does this window bird feeder hold, and is it easy to refill and clean?
This window bird feeder holds a sizable amount of birdseed and is easy to both refill and clean. Buyers note that the straightforward design makes maintenance simple, so you spend more time enjoying the birds and less time fussing with the feeder. The glass construction also makes it easy to see when seed is running low, so you'll always know when it's time for a refill.

Is a squirrel too heavy for this? I imagine they come steal the birds food sometimes.
Verified reply from Michelle
Yes, a squirrel would be too heavy, but this bird feeder can be mounted on a window which will help keep hungry squirrels and other critters away from your bird's buffet!

Has anyone had problems with the suctions cups losing ability to hold feeder? I have had problems in the past with suction cups that pop off.
Verified reply from Allison
As long as all three are applied properly, the feeder will work perfectly! Also included is a wire for extra support.
