What Makes This French Oak Wine Barrel Ice Bucket Uncommon

Ivan Hull crafts this ice bucket from recycled French oak wine barrels, giving each piece a history as rich as the bottles it now chills. Once used to age fine vintages, the oak staves are carefully reshaped into a striking vessel that brings vineyard character and rustic elegance to the table. It's a conversation starter before the cork is even popped.

  • Exterior crafted from reclaimed French oak wine barrels, giving each bucket rich character and authentic patina.
  • Stainless steel interior that keeps ice frozen for hours and beverages perfectly chilled.
  • Sturdy iron handles that enhance its rustic luxury look while making it easy to move from kitchen to table to patio.
  • A beautiful way to chill wine or champagne in the very material that once helped create it.
  • Handmade in New York.

Due to the recycled and handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

Ivan Hull

Ivan Hull has spent a lifetime immersed in design, from running a window dressing business as a teen to building a team of artisans in Aspen creating pop art sculptures. After more than 20 years in the garment industry, a chance discovery in an Australian winery sparked a new path. Inspired by the beauty of aged oak wine barrels, he began transforming reclaimed wood into elegant serving platters. By giving centuries-old materials a second life, Ivan creates timeless pieces meant for gathering, celebrating, and being passed down for generations.
