Patricia Carlin believes that a small sketch has the power to tell a story without language. She started out as an art director in Philadelphia, selling everything from potato chips to financial products. In 2001, a friend wanted help launching a glassware business, so Patricia designed and wrote copy for several products for the new venture. Patricia has explored many techniques in her illustration, but simple line drawing appeals to her most. "For me, paring things down to their simplest essence is always the best way to understand them," she says.

Truly wonderful family momento

I am pleased to write this review, even without the #sweepstakes incentive. I absolutely loved what I saw in the catalog and right away ordered one for our family. The proof came promptly and I didn't get it quite right the first time. They sent me a new proof in just a couple of days and the final product arrived promptly. The quality is great. The colors are fun, and I will be gifting it to the generation of cousins who will be inheriting our cottage, binding them together for another generation of fun.

Absolutely Amazing!

I ordered this for my in laws as a Christmas gift since we all go camping together. It turned out even better than I could have imagined! A truly unique and special gift

The item not only is high-quality, but the artist and staff at uncommon goods was so willing to work with me, so it looked like our family. My husband's favorite thing is to sit in front of a fire pit. To have a picture of our whole family, including the dogs, was so special. Hi! Two questions: I guess the body options are set in stone, right? I need bodies for four men and four women, but there are only three slender options, and 3-4 older people with wider bodies. Since the colors of the shirts and pants are set in stone, I would have to make someone overly wide, or two people would be outfit twins. Any ideas? 2) If I order 8 people, will there be 2 empty chairs? I really need 8 chairs for 8 people, with no extras. Thanks for your help!

We have four large dogs. Is it possible to add two more? Also, one of them is white and white a Grey head and Grey spots on his back, the other white one has brown markings.
