Born in Tokyo and now based in Oceanside, California, Ikuko Lin brings a lifelong love of cats and tiny details to her joyful illustrations. A self-taught artist who began by sculpting miniature ceramics, she now designs playful prints inspired by the many cats she has known, including her 20-year-old companion who inspired her brand's name. Working from her home studio, a remodeled garage near the harbor and hiking trails, she creates original drawings that are locally printed on cotton goods. Her husband assists in the studio, and together they bring a little everyday happiness to kitchens and homes.
