What Makes It Uncommon

A garden can offer more than flowers to the bees that keep it buzzing. Jessica Berger's little stoneware cups add shallow places to stop for water, especially welcome when hot, dry weather makes a drink harder to find. Individually handmade in five bright colors, they tuck among herbs, blooms, and potted plants, giving a gardener another small way to look after the visitors doing so much of the growing's behind-the-scenes work.

  • Set includes 5 individually handmade bee drinkers in bright colors.
  • Shallow basins provide drinking spots for bees and other pollinators.
  • Made from durable stoneware clay.
  • Place among flowers, herbs, or potted plants; refresh the water and clean regularly.
  • Handmade in Oklahoma.

Jessica Berger

A few handmade pots led to more plants, more pots, and a house so full that Jessica Berger thought, “Oh gosh, I should probably sell some of these!” The Louisville native first fell for clay in high school, then rediscovered it in 2020 after years in fields ranging from interior design to healthcare. Now based in Oklahoma City, she throws pottery in a backyard greenhouse studio and often glazes in her kitchen. Inspired by nature, travel, and unexpected details, Jessica welcomes happy accidents, letting the clay help shape each piece. What began as an escape from everyday demands has become a full-time creative life, one colorful, playful pot at a time.
