Blaine and Sam Spees are glass artists based in Asheville, North Carolina, where they create functional pieces that blur the line between art and everyday use. Their partnership began in Pittsburgh, where both worked in glass before relocating to build their studio together. Drawing on backgrounds in glassblowing and sculpture, they collaborate on every piece, combining traditional techniques with experimental materials like metal to highlight the expressive qualities of glass.
