Beautiful birthstone glass
I have purchased these for family and my husband and I as birthday gifts. Each one is beautiful! Love the true colors and how they represent each month. These have brought us joy for years and may they bring us joy for years to come! Keep on rockin the September and January !

Beautiful Craftsmanship!
I purchased two, one for my birth month (January) and another for my wedding anniversary month (March). The size is perfect, the craftsmanship beautiful! March's globe has a lovely mix of soft green and blue hues! January's, however, is splattered with a single shade of brownish/red (true to Garnet, certainly), but the effect is very unappealing. My first thought was that it looked like a clear glass ball that had been splattered with blood, and I have not been able to shake that image. Rather than a beautiful receptical for wishes and dreams, the sight of it is very distressing to me. I'm not a seriously superstitious person but, having just emerged on the other side of cancer treatments and desiring something lovely and positive, and though it's admittedly silly, this felt like an very ill omen on my birthday. :-(

Lovely, beautiful gift idea
Purchased a January/garnet bird for my sister for her birthday last month. The bird arrived in perfect condition, gorgeous with a swirl of deep garnet in the glass and it both looked and felt handcrafted. It had a quality heft to it (so, will work well as either a display piece or paperweight), with sturdy and attractive wrapping and a card inside explaining the meaning of birthstone. My sister is an avid birdwatcher so this was the absolute perfect gift for her! I love supporting smaller artists through Uncommon Goods and finding unique gifts for others through their site. I'm a repeat customer and will shop here again in the near future. Always quality products, shipped on time, and you can get to a human pretty easily when either calling or emailing the company for any customer service needs. Overall, very happy with this buying experience!

A lovely, unique birthstone necklace!
This delicate and very unusual birthstone necklace makes a lovely gift. I have purchased two: one for a dear friend & one for myself to celebrate our 75th birthdays. Each necklace contains 4 stones: ours & one for each of our mothers. The necklaces are very well made, clearly by an exceptional artist. I do wish the necklace came with certificate of sorts detailing the birthstones contained (which could be slipped into a gift card for the recipient). Truly a gift to be treasured for years.

A Perfect Birthday Present
I bought this after reading a review in the NY Times. The dish was carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. It is a beautiful item and and looks so elegant. I love that they match the gemstones to birth months.
