The most special gift ever
I gifted 2 sets of guide birds to friends in need of a pick-me-up. The meaning behind the birds is so thoughtful and a great reminder to set an intention for each day. The first set of guide birds I bought was a gift for my mom who had been recently diagnosed with cancer. Just before my mom's diagnosis, she lost her mother, my grandma. The birds provided a bridge of communication between my mother and her recently passed mother. After my mom died, the guide birds brought me great comfort. I will cherish them forver.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my mom who loves a good spa dress but hadn't found a new one in years. She loves everything about, it from the dusky rose color to the quality of the material.

For my new writer friend
I gifted this to my "soul sister" who helped me when our husbands both ended their lives. Part of her recovery was to write about the experience. She's so talented and I bought this for her birthday - was hoping she could get inspired to keep writing for good. Maybe she'll share the contents with me someday. Maybe she'll share with the world. BTW, I get all her gifts from Uncommon Goods. Because she's not common...she's one of a kind and deserves the best gifts.

Actually a helpful gift for someone who has lost a loved one
I don't use it for myself--I gave it to a friend who told me she uses it daily. I felt like it was more helpful and meaningful than flowers, a card, etc. #sweepstakes
