“Most of my inspiration usually comes from a blend of personal necessity (or pet peeve) and food. And by food, I mean dessert.”
Heather Swanepoel is not known for her knitting. In need of a creative outlet, she tried to teach herself the craft, but couldn't muster more than squares and rectangles. So she signed up for a soap making class with her crafty mom. When their work was uncovered, Heather's was perfect (don't ask about her mom's). Heather and her husband now have a family soap-making business in Monroe, Georgia, where all their products are produced in small batches to ensure quality and freshness.

Care
Cut your soaps in half to promote longevity. When not is use, allow your soaps to breathe (do not wrap them in plastic, put in a resealable container, or be in the constant flow of water); the longer they dry, the longer they will last.

Great gift!
My fiance and I bought this set of soaps for his sister in law who is pregnant with her first child. We have had great times together with a glass of wine in hand, so we figured this would be a great gift since she cannot drink right now. She absolutely loved them and said they smell just like the real thing. It's a great way to still get a little bit of the yummyness from wine without the alcohol component. Only downside was that it arrived at the end of the dates indicated, and we had to give it to her as a belated present.

The wine soap is pretty cool. I am thinking about buying the wine soap as a stocking stuffer for my son. Is the product unisex or is the scent geared more towards a female? If female, then how about your chocolate soap?

Despite its pink and white look, the wine soaps are suitable for anyone who likes the scent of wine! As for which soap you should get your son, it depends if your son likes the smell of chocolate or wine more (hard choice, I know).

Is the cardboard box that the wine soaps come in the gift box, or is the gift box what the cardboard box goes into? Also, where does the recipients name go on the gift box?

Greetings! The box that is shown in the picture is the gift box. Gift box refers to vendor's nice packaging; not necessarily that there is a specific location to write the recipient's name. You will have to get creative to find another way to add the recipient's name on the gift box. I hope this info helps you. Happy Holidays!

The wine soaps come in the box pictured in the second thumbnail. If you choose our gift boxing option, the box with the wine soaps will go into a navy blue box wrapped with a green ribbon and a gift card on the box that you may leave blank or personalize to your liking.

The Wine Soap set comes in two different styles. The main image you see on our product page is the original set (with a cardboard gift box). The set that comes in the repurposed wine case is also pictured, but you'll want to click on the thumbnail on the right under the main image to take a look. This wooden box is made from the slats of an authentic wine crate, so it can add an extra special "something" if you're giving the soaps as a gift to a serious wine lover.
