“Our original design accents aim to offer peace, authenticity, and a mindfulness of global responsibility in the home, or wherever the journey takes you.”

While filming a documentary in Africa, brothers Dhia and Firas came across another art form: handmade goods by fellow talented Tunisians. They wanted people to be able to experience the feeling of traveling to far-off places without leaving home, so they created a home decor collection inspired by the ancient Hamsa symbol, said to bring protection, happiness, peace, and prosperity. The people who make the vibrantly detailed pieces are just as important to Dhia and Firas' business. "We believe that the touch of smiling artists outweighs the monotony of mass production," they say. "As we grow, we envision a platform where local enterprise can reach the world with their own, original products, and where you can find something worth being proud to own."

Beautiful accent piece

I bought this tray to put my cooking oils, salt cellar, and olive oil bottle on and it is beautiful and perfect for the space. the wood is a gorgeous brown color and the tile detail is beautiful and matches the backsplash tile perfectly. It would be beautiful in a bathroom, as well.

An incredible value for superb workmanship

ABSOLUTELY I would buy this again.

I lived two years in Carthage, Tunisia, just 2 km or 1-1/4 miles, from Sidi Bou Said. I was THRILLED to see this is truly an authentic Tunisian, Sidi Bou Said-made, tray. Not only is it authentic, it is very well made. I generally do not have things sitting around, but this is so cheery and beautiful that it sits on my counter, and makes me smile every time I look at it. Not only that, it is useful! I could not be more happy with this lovely tray. No surprise, I have ordered the larger tray!

Nice, but not perfect

In the photo, the two tiles blend together better. They are not the same tiles, which is fine, but on the tray I received, the tiles do not match as well as pictured. Still, it is a great little tray and it's not much of a problem when items are placed on it.
