Josh Pottschmidt and Adam Bechtel met and became good friends while attending Purdue University. After graduation, Adam started his own business while Josh began a career in the agriculture industry and purchased a farm in Southern Indiana. Looking for something to set his farm apart from all the rest in the area, Josh began growing popcorn and soon made a momentous discovery: that he could actually pop the popcorn right off of the cob. He mentioned his findings to his entrepreneurial pal, and the duo went into business together, harvesting, packaging, and selling their unique product. Their passion and excitement for their farm business continues to grow, right along with the stalks of beautiful corn.

Fresh and delicious
I got this for my mom for Christmas a few years ago. She loves movie nights and popcorn. Growing up, I loved going to the theaters with her or having movie nights at home with the family. Great surprise, and surprisingly educational!
I bought this as a birthday present for my partner last year. He loved it! We had a lot of fun popping the cobs-even if (or possibly because) it was as simple as sticking them in a paper bag and throwing it in the microwave-and it was super cool to learn about different corn as well as to have it directly off the cob (we'd never realized there was a specific corn for popcorn!). It's a bit difficult to season, and we did try lightly buttering the kernels beforehand as well as oiling and salting after the popping was done, but nothing seemed to really work. However, it's tasty on its own; there's a special kind of delight in eating something so simple in its plainest state, at least for us anyway! Just a word of warning about the cobs and popping in the microwave: They burn easily! Try popping at the lowest suggested time first and see how that goes. But don't follow the urge to stick it back in the microwave when you discover there are still unpopped kernels on the cob. They will not pop, and it's perfectly normal for not all of them to pop.

I bought it for my son for Christmas
He hasn't made the popcorn yet but he was intrigued about having popcorn popped off the cob. He loves popcorn so I'm anxious to hear what he thinks of it.

Popcorn on the Cob!
It was a fun and yummy gift for a large family gathering at Thanksgiving for all! Three generations loved the treat and the appropriateness of corn for the holiday! I usually send a present at Christmas that gets lost in the mountain of gifts. This may become a tradition because they will remember and look forward to a new tradition!

Fun product
I bought this for my 11 and 16-year-old grandchildren for Valentine's Day and they had a blast with them. They had no idea you could actually pop popcorn on a cob so it was great fun. The product worked perfectly and they got lots of popcorn.

Fun Solid Product
This is a fun little product. Sure, it's a gimmick. But my kids loved it, and the popcorn is great! The full cob doesn't always pop, but we enjoy it for the fun.

Cool idea, not so perfect execution
I got this gift as a gift for my parents for the holidays, who have enjoyed artisan popcorn and using their air-popper in the past several years. The box was slightly opened/dented when I received it, which was a shame when giving as a gift, but the popcorn and bags were not damaged. My parents were intrigued by the concept of popping little cobs in the microwave, but they were disappointed that most of the cobs have left about 1/4 of the cob unpopped when following the directions. They have tried putting the cob in the bag back in the microwave for a little bit to get it popped, but it doesn't result in more than a few extra popped kernels. They are not fond of waste, so this was disappointing to them. Whenever they use their air popper, they get most if not all of their kernels popped but this does not seem to be possible with these cobs. The amount that does pop results in enough for the two of them to enjoy together comfortably, which is nice. They liked the taste and texture of this popcorn, but they ultimately decided it wasn't anything special to write home about. I think this was a memorable gift for them, but they ultimately were not satisfied with the result.

This was a Valentine's Day gift for my children, grandchildren and the prettiest great granddaughter in this world! Far better for them and it made their EYES POP. They loved this unique healthy treat!

A Unique Delicious Taste of History
My dad loved his popcorn! It was tasty and fun to pop. This was a unique gift and the first time he had popcorn like this! It is perfect for watching football games and programs on TV. You add your own toppings, so the popcorn isn't too greasy.

If you try to break the cobs, the kernels might fall off! The bags can be reused as long as there are no holes or tears in it. If you do try it, let us know how it turns out.
