Find comfort in the knowledge, though, that Houston-based designers John Paul and Roya Plauch\u00e9 have.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were exploring the relationship of food and the snack journey from the kitchen to the living room,\u201d John Paul said about the design process, which was a collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uncommongoods.pro\/blog\/\/2016\/inside-the-designers-studio-with-uncommongoods-product-development-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UncommonGoods Product Development team<\/a>. \u201cWe had initially tried to identify the typology of foods that would be common for this type of transition, then build around them and their possible groupings.\u201d The \u201ctypology of foods\u201d they landed on: Sweetus Snackae. Street name: Candy.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_56725\" style=\"width: 660px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uncommongoods.pro\/product\/candy-convertible?source=blog_cs_candyconvertible\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56725\" class=\"wp-image-56725 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uncommongoods.pro\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/dishes-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"561\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-56725\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uncommongoods.pro\/product\/candy-convertible?source=blog_cs_candyconvertible\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Candy Convertible<\/a> lets you mix and\/or match your favorite snacks<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the design, the Plauch\u00e9s decided to focus on the idea of containing and parsing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to explore these in a more kinetic and customizable way,\u201d John Paul says, \u201cand introduced actively reversible and dividing concepts.\u201d The concept (ironically inspired by a <em>pie<\/em> chart) considers \u201cthe ergonomics of balancing and grabbing multiple small snacks from a bowl, while being able to define the portions you would like for each.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-56722\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uncommongoods.pro\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/candy-convertible-donut-chart.jpg\" alt=\"Candy Convertible - UncommonGoods\" width=\"650\" height=\"457\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-56723\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uncommongoods.pro\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/candy-convertible-3d-rendering.jpg\" alt=\"Candy Convertible - UncommonGoods\" width=\"650\" height=\"356\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With that, their latest exclusive design for UncommonGoods\u2014the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uncommongoods.pro\/product\/candy-convertible?source=blog_cs_candyconvertible\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Candy Convertible<\/a>\u2014was born.
