Sometimes it&#8217;s stunningly\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">beautiful. Sometimes it can be bleak. Sometimes, just boring.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Fortunately, painters, sculptors, carvers, collagists, craftspeople and photographers have created glorious art about all the faces of winter. Looking at their work can feel like a mini-staycation, \u00a0a meditation, or a moment of bliss. Isn&#8217;t that always true about good art?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been collecting winter-themed art on <a title=\"Marisa's Uncommon Picks\" href=\"http:\/\/pinterest.com\/uncommongoods\/marisa-s-uncommon-picks\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pinterest<\/a> since last autumn. Eventually, themes began to suggest themselves.
