I have only used this cutting board a few times and it has warped from the water when washing it. Stable wood, but now bent

We're sorry to hear that! To preserve your board, it's best to treat with mineral oil before use. In addition, please hand wash as well as dry standing up to avoid bowing.

i'm not sure she's taking his last name so i thought i'd do the date in the center. However the character limit for the first center line is three. Is that flexible so it can read as follows? August 12 2017

It's not flexible, but you can leave line one blank and enter the complete date on line two.
